THE COWARDLY LION
For the 50th Anniversary of The Wizard of Oz, a line of dolls was created by Multi Toys Corp (1988). Some of the boxes say "50th Anniversary" and some do not. The dolls are similar to Barbie dolls in size and shape, but with slightly larger faces. Here we have the COWARDLY LION whose box does say "50th Anniversary." He is in mint condition and has only been removed from the box twice--when first purchased in the late 80s, and when I checked him over before listing. Around his neck is his Medal of Courage. Box shows some wear--plastic has been bent in at top, causing a small tear in cardboard (at top left of photo). This occurred during storage. This doll is rather hard to come by!
